Prophet’s love for drum and bass started in the late 90’s in the southern California rave scene. He was instantly captivated by the complex basslines and one-of-a-kind sounds of jungle and dnb. He made a name for himself locally in SoCal as a part of Peer Pressure Recordings, playing in San Diego, Orange County, Riverside, and Los Angeles, and providing years of local support at weekly events and pop-ups at festivals like EDC and Nocturnal Wonderland. After relocating to Texas in 2011, he continued to make an impression on the scene with his unique approach to spinning dnb, maintaining an old-school long mix mindset while also going the modern route with seamless transitions and triple drops. He is also deftly multi-genre, playing everything from neuro to liquid to dancefloor to minimal and everything in between. As of 2020, Prophet also began producing his own tracks and is excited to see what the future holds in terms of honing his own personal sound. He currently works with the Dallas crew Repercussions, along with hosting a monthly livestream - Brain Scratch - for San Diego’s United by Bass.
